The man of the house faced the heartbreaking challenge of caring for his ailing wife until her passing, which led to his home becoming cluttered and his motivation to restore it fading. It was a wonderful opportunity for our dream team to help reorganize his space.
To bring joy to his two grandchildren, I designed and built a charming bedroom for their visits. The double-stacked loft bed was strategically positioned to allow the children to see each other easily while they sleep. Beneath the bed, I created a cozy desk area where they can play and engage in activities together.
The beds are themed like space probes, and with universe-themed wallpaper, they evoke a feeling of flying through space. A lamp fashioned from a globe adds to this celestial atmosphere, while a round window enhances the sense of openness and adventure.
All the furniture was crafted from reused materials sourced from the house, reinforcing a sustainable approach to design. We believe the grandchildren will now be eager to visit their grandpa, bringing comfort during this mourning period and fostering a happier home life.
