The organic meeting table is custom made from reclaimed wood. With a length of 240 centimeter and an average width of 100 centimeters it is able to host eight persons.
While designing the table a left over piece of wood by some gardeners in the city of Rotterdam was found. The oak trunk would be perfect for two middle supports. The full oak elements have a birch laminated connection element and make the table dismountable. With wooden pegs one is able to easily join the legs to the frame of the table top. Four eccentric connection points create a solid joint maintaining stability.
The rest of the material comes from Buurman Rotterdam. The curve for the table top is constructed through the combined input of aesthetic appearance and the spatial utilization.
