In our busy travel through life we occasionally need to stop and think about where we are, what we are doing and where we are going in order to improve our own happiness and thereby that of others.

The pavilion is sustainably lit by glow in the dark seams between the concrete Stones and by a synthetic roof which is powder coated with glow in the dark pigment, inspired by Daan Roosegaarde a Dutch Artist. The roof also collects rain water distributes it to the plants and in summer it will create a fountain to cool the atmosphere and create comfort.

The design is made during the course ornametics given at TU Delft; which integrates mathematics and aesthetics in the design process in order to bring back the ornament and thereby create beauty. The underlying superstructure which I have developed is inspired by nature, fractals allow structures to grow and thereby create tectonical differentiation. My position in the architectural discourse regarding the ornament is that the combination and the composition of simple architectural elements create complex hierarchical architectures.
